My son loves nature but would rather do chemistry or physics type science and I have been in search for a Charlotte Mason friendly science and this is it. It is expensive and our library doesn't carry the books but, you pointed out that the items in the kit can just be got around the house or bought. My son will be 8 in Oct so this seems very steep for someone that really needs to be learning to read and math but, I know the interest will cause him to want to read.
